  • Are there any hidden fees or deposits required when signing up for a unit?

    There is a $5 administration fee which is included in the current first-month promotion of $30 for any unit. The only additional fees that could be charged are credit/debit card fees ($3 minimum). Customers also receive a free lock when they sign up for self storage units with Storageland LLC!

  • Can I sign up for a unit and move into it on the same day?

    Absolutely! Walk-ins are welcome and you can call ahead to have self storage units held for you for a short time.

  • Do you require customers to have renter’s insurance? Do you offer insurance?

    No, we do not require customers to have insurance on their belongings. We also do not offer insurance; however, customers can go through a third-party insurance agency to acquire it if they choose to for their self storage units.

  • Do you have an auto-pay option?

    The only auto-pay option available for our self storage units is to have your personal bank automatically mail rent checks to us each month.

  • Can I pay my storage rent online?

    We currently do not offer an online pay option for our self storage units. You can come to the office to pay via cash, check, or credit card. You can also call in over the phone to pay with a credit card or mail checks to us each month.

  • Is there a minimum length of time you must rent a unit? Are you locked into a long-term commitment?

    No, all of our contracts for self storage units are month-to-month. That's what makes us different from other storage solutions. According to SpareFoot, there are more than 2.1 billion square feet of total rentable self storage space.

  • Are you able to access your units 24 hours a day? Is there a security code you need to enter/exit?

    We do not currently offer 24-hour access to self storage units at our Olympia and Lacey locations. Access hours are available to view on our property pages.

  • Are there promotions or discounts available to help customers save money on rent?

    Yes, we have a first-month promotion of just $30 for any self storage units. We also offer 5% discounts for military and senior (65+) customers. Customers can also get a month free if they pay 11 months up-front.

  • What size units are available and what fits in each different size?

    Storageland LLC in Olympia offers customers over 70 size options for climate-controlled, heated, or drive-up self storage units with unit sizes between 3’x4’ up and 10’x20’ depending on availability. Storageland LLC in Lacey offers eight size options for unheated, drive-up storage units with sizes between 5’x5’ up and 10’x30’ depending on availability.

  • Does the storage facility offer climate-controlled or heated storage units?

    Our facility in Olympia offers climate-controlled, heated, and drive-up self storage units. Our climate-controlled and heated units are only $10 more per month when compared to our unheated, drive-up units of the same size.
